Along the border between the U.S. and Mexico, Emmanuel Children’s Home is struggling to maintain a safe haven for over 100 children in a city that has become a dangerous drug war zone. Tragically, 10 murders a day in Ciudad Juarez has become the norm as gang related violence has increased, pulling many of the city’s vulnerable teens along with it. Despite the chaos, the home has continued to stand as a refuge where children can get a warm bed, food in their bellies, clothes on their backs, medical care, and a good education. In the midst of senseless violence and tragedy, the home is trying to protect its children and their dreams to become everything they can be without fear. Sponsorship of these children has helped ensure a future for them that does not involve drugs. We have 1,800 children worldwide who need similar assistance, and you can be the difference. Please sponsor a child, share your sponsorship experience with your friends and contacts, or give to one of our Urgent Needs. With your help, one more child can be saved.
