Latin American Division
Serves more than 6,000 children across Central and South America
as well as Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Established in 1964 as Children, Incorporated?s first division,
the Latin American Division has grown from a single project in Guatemala to 88 projects within a network of schools,
orphanages and community centers in 16 countries. Many of the children in the Latin American Division are orphaned,
abandoned or come from families who cannot afford to provide for them. As a consequence, these children
are enrolled in boarding schools and orphanages where they receive sponsorship aid and educational
support. Those who do live with their families often face substandard living conditions where a lack of nutritious food,
