Inner City Division
Serves underprivileged children in urban areas across the United States. This
division was established in 2005 in response to a growing need of assistance for at-risk children exposed to inner city poverty,
gang violence and illegal drugs. The Inner City Division has over 10 projects within a network
of public schools and programs in Washington, D.C., Detroit, MI, Lexington, KY, New Orleans, LA,
and Richmond, VA. The children served in this division often come from unstable backgrounds
where domestic violence and abuse may be common. Many of the issues facing these children
stem from rampant drug problems in their communities which often obstruct their educational success
and potential.
